I have never in my life felt so busy or consumed with life...life doesn't stop..decisions keep coming, changes keep happening, things are out of my control and all I can say is... I am so thankful that God never lets go, he never forgets about us or what we are going through, he's there one step of the time even if your feet can find a solid place to stand and you feel like you are slipping..he's there. That is my strength right now knowing that I am going into a new season that will only become more "busy" and knowing I feel called to homeschool. When I rely on my own strength or knowledge I get completely overwhelmed, I easily get defeated, I am scared and start to panic, yet he always brings me back and reminds me that I am not alone, he has laid my path out before me, he holds my hand and watches my moves, he is my papa!
Ok, now on to our week of hs:
Our butterflies have changed from fat little larvae into their chrysalis and then into butterflies, we observed them, watched youtube videos on how the chrysalis is formed and we actually saw one of ours come out with wet wings, and unfold them.

Our last week of co-op was this weeks, the kids were able to bring something that they were proud of to do a sort of show n' tell I didn't think that my little one would want to stand up all by himself and present something to 50 or so adults and children but this little brave one did!

We also headed to the Little Big Science Centre for a lab on little insects, the boys were able to see what a very active pond water looked like under a microscope, tiny little organisms that are see-though are very neat!!
Building our butterflies
Something random..... every wondered what the underside of a car looks like??
Look mom!! my plants are growing, leaves, roots, and all.
So because we can, we took the skin of the caterpillar and looked at it..LOOK that those hairs..
We also broke the chrysalis apart and saw the veins.
A friend of mine who's husband is a RCMP member was kind enough on his day off to take us through a detachment tour, showing us the holding cells, drunk tank, breathalyzer, video recording machines, police car & motorcycles. He then showed us his belt with all his stuff he wears everyday and his uniform. Fun times!
It has been a very full and busy couple of weeks, lots of learning and growing.
