This past weekend we travelled to one of our favourite spots to pick our pumpkins for carving. It is always extra special when the boys get to visit with Oma too!!!
The air was crisp and the ground was wet as it sprinkled light rains on us through out the day. We almost didn't go due to the weather and one of the boys feeling a bit under the weather. We always have a great time doing this traditions, this was our 4th year of going with the boys. I like traditions, they give a sense of togetherness and give us memories to play back in our head once we get old and start to forget the time when the kids were so small.
We take the famous tracker ride up the hill and find your favourite pumpkin in the field. The kids are growing so fast that every year is so very different down too their choices of pumpkins, their reactions to the train ride and even how they navigate through the upward hill over mounds and obstacles of pumpkin vines.
We always bring home collection of apples and a big jug of apple juice.
Of course we had to visit the goats and feed those over weight goats!
The boys thought Chris the Clown was great! He really did keep the kids laughing!
YAY!! I had so much fun!! So glad we got to spend the day together! Tell the boys Oma says HI and she misses them xoxo
